On Friday November 12, four graduates of the Geology program at Lafayette College joined our students via Zoom to discuss careers, and their “life after Lafayette.”  Recent Graduates Robyn Henderek ’15, Billy Hudacek ’10, Emma Sosa ’17 and Leslie Tintle ’16 joined current students in a panel discussing careers, courses, and their paths to their current positions.

Clockwise from Upper Left: Billy Hudacek, the audience in Van Wickle 108, Leslie Tintle, Robyn Henderek, and Emma Sosa.

Billy Hudacek: Earth Science Teacher, Midwood High School, Brooklyn, NY
Leslie Tintle: Project Geologist, Sandborn, Head & Associates, Inc.
Robyn Henderek: Physical Science Program Manage, Zion National Park
Emma Sosa: Graduate Student, Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences, PhD Program Cal Tech.

The four spoke of their paths since leaving Lafayette.  From graduate schools, to consulting firms, and internships to full time jobs each student discussed their paths, and what led them to where they are now.  The most common theme of the day, was to follow your passions, and do what you enjoy.
