The Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences offers three degree options.  They are the AB degree, the BS Environmental Track, and the BS Geology Track.  Each degree offers a broad background in the various disciplines of the geosciences.  The department also offers a minor.

The AB Degree:

Two 100-level geology courses, one from each of the following course lists:
Physical Geology Courses (100, 110, 120, 160, 170)
Earth History Courses (115, 130, 160)
Geol. 200 (Earth and Planetary Materials)
Six additional Geology courses at least five of which are 200-level or above

No more than one 100-level interim course may count as either the Physical Geology or Earth History course.

The BS – Environmental Track
